White wines (Classics)

Sauvignon de Touraine, Domaine Gibault, Loire

Grape: Sauvignon Blanc
Very aromatic wine, fund, fresh and with the ideal fruit concentration. Bouquet of green apples and boxwood. A friendly, juicy, flavoursome wine. Ideal as an aperitif, to accompany fish, shellfish and seafood, as well as with warm goat’s cheese.

   

Pouilly Fumé “Mademoiselle de T”, Château de Tracy, Loire

Grape: Sauvignon Blanc
Aromatic nose, with typical Sauvignon flavours, such as boxwood and citrus. This wine has character and good structure, is fruity and tastes wonderful! Always a sure bet from the Loire!

   

Chablis, Domaine Jean Collet, Bourgogne

This Chardonnay has a bouquet of citrus and honey. Full, mellow flavour with a long, lingering finish. A great wine for fine fish dishes.

   

Côtes du Rhône, Domaine de la Janasse

Exceptional blend of 50% Grenache Blanc, 15% Clairette, 15% Bourboulenc, 10% Viognier and 10% Roussanne. Quite amazing quality. Only 8,000 bottles of this white Côtes du Rhône were ever produced. The wine is flowery, fruity and surprising refreshing!

   

Givry 1er Cru Champ Nalot, Domaine Parize, Bourgogne

100% Chardonnay
This white Givry has intense aromas of white fruit and flowers in the nose. The palate is full and creamy, followed by a long aftertaste with pleasant minerality. A top-class Burgundy that tastes great with hot fish dishes.

   

World wines - white

Soralisa, Sant’Antimo, Tenuta Fanti, Toscana, Italia

30% Vermentino, 30% Trebbiano Toscano, 20% Viognier and 20% Malvasia Toscano.
Intense and powerful, with aromas of fruit (tropical fruit, peach and pineapple) and flowers. An intense fruity flavour that is full of freshness. A long aftertaste.

   

Langhe Arneis, Cristina Ascheri, Piemonte, Italia

Arneis is the grape here. The nose contains aromas of fruit, flowers and spices. This dry white wine is elegant, delicate as easy to digest. Goes will with fish, salads and white meat. A really juicy and refreshing glass of wine!

   

Chardonnay Reserva, Fin del Mundo, Patagonia, Argentina

Lots of tropical fruit and tones of honey and vanilla (produced by the wood ageing). Fruity and well balanced, with a fresh acidy taste. Just the drop to drink with poultry, white meat and grilled fish dishes.

   

Sauvignon, Mount Nelson, Marlborough, New Zealand

There’s passionfruit, citrus and green pepper in the nose. A lovely balance between freshness and concentration, ending with a long, intensely pure aftertaste. This Sauvignon makes the ideal aperitif and goes beautifully with salads, fish dishes, white meat and cheese.

   

Red wines (Classics)

Château La Chandellière, Médoc, Cru Bourgeois, Bordeaux

Grape blend: 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Cabernet Franc, 35% Merlot. This wine is deep in colour, with a light hint of orange and is aged in oak barrels for 12 months. The nose has aromas of toast, ripe red fruit and a rich structure of fused tannins. Ideal with red meat.

   

Les Hauts de la Gaffelière, St-Emilion

75% Merlot and 25% Cabernet Franc.
The nose is bursting with aromas of berries, chocolate and vanilla. A pure glass of wine that is supported by gentle tannins and a lovely minerality. A St-Emilion with true class!

   

Côtes du Rhône, Domaine de la Janasse, Rhône

60% Grenache, 20% Carignan (vines more than 50 years old) and 20% Mourvèdre.
Complex aromas of cocoa, herbs and cherries. Broad, round, luxuriant and soft in the mouth. A sublime wine, head and shoulders better than many Châteauneuf wines.

   

Crozes Hermitage, Cuvée Particulière, Domaine des Rémizières, Rhône

Grape: Syrah. Age of the vines: +/-45 years.
Aged for 12 months in oak barrels. A bright, ruby-red colour. The palate is aromatic and creamy, followed by pleasant tannins and a beautifully intense aftertaste. A real firework, full of fruit! Goes perfectly with both white and red meat.

   

Givry "Champ Nalot", Domaine Parize, Bourgogne

100% Pinot Noir. A nose filled with the aromas of small red fruit, overlaid by lightly toasted tones. The flavour is subtle, with lovely fused tannins. A wine with many aromas and great finesse. Long, intense aftertaste. Perfect for drinking with game. A beautiful Burgundy for you to discover.

   

World wines - red

Merlot “Flag Tree”, Fin del Mundo, Patagonia, Argentina

Aromas of red fruit, raspberries and vanilla. Friendly in taste, with gentle tannins and a long aftertaste. Goes well with a whole range of dishes.

   

Tempranillo “Roble”, Castillo Monte La Reina, Toro, Espana

100% Tempranillo. Aged for 5 to 6 months in French and American oak barrels.
A complex nose, with aromas and vanilla, dark berries and plums. Powerful and rich in the mouth. Fruity tones with pleasant tannins and a long, flavoursome aftertaste. Ideal with red meat and spicy dishes.

   

Malbec "Reserva", Fin del Mundo, Patagonia, Argentina

An intense deep purple colour. Fruity aromas such as plums and berries. Fruity flavour with rich tannins, well balanced with a long aftertaste.

   

Chianti “Vigna di Pallino” Tenuta Sette Ponti, Toscana, Italia

100% Sangiovese. Aromas of fruit and flowers. This is a juicy, refreshing and pleasing wine that is also well balanced. A very pleasant glass of wine that will taste perfect with many meat dishes.

   

Insoglio del Cinghiale, Campo di Sasso, Toscana, Italia

32% Syrah, 30% Cabernet Franc, 32% Merlot and 6% Petit Verdot.
They call this wine a “Super Tuscan”. Fruity bouquet of small red fruit and vanilla. There’s plenty of fruit in the flavour, with fine tannins. Fills the mouth with its pleasant, well-balanced taste. One to discover!

   

House wines

White

Les Vignes d’Oc, Pays d’Oc

Great combination of Chardonnay and Grenache. An aromatic, rich nose that is deliciously fresh and elegant in the mouth.

   

Red

Les Bories, Merlot, Pays d’Oc

A fine nose with ripe fruit and spices. Mouth-filling, fruity flavour, with gorgeous ripe tannins, soft and a little creamy. A charming Merlot.

   

Rosé

Les Bories, Syrah Rosé, Pays d’Oc

Based on Syrah grapes. A wine that give pleasant drinking enjoyment. Full of fruitiness in the mouth, plus enjoyable acids, which gives the wine good balance.
